The 20th anniversary revival of Speed-the-Plow, David Mamet’s classic skewering of Hollywood power brokers opened at Broadway's Barrymore Theatre on October 23, 2008 for a limited run through February 22, 2009. Jeremy Piven ("Entourage") and Raúl Esparza (Company) starred as two studio film producers hungry to impress their boss with the next big blockbuster when a sexy new secretary, played by Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”), threatens to get in the way. After Mr. Piven's much-publicized withdrawal from the production in December of 2008, he was replaced by Jordan Lage, Tony-winner Norbert Leo Butz, and Oscar nominee and Emmy winner William H. Macy. Directed by Neil Pepe, Speed-the-Plow featured sets by Tony-winner Scott Pask, costumes by Laura Bauer and lighting by Tony-winner Brian MacDevitt.
